Bio

Meg Allan Cole is a prominent name in the DIY and crafting world, and this quirky blond Brooklynite is usually seen wielding a glue gun in one hand and a rescue dog in the other. Often dubbed ‘The Brooklyn Martha”, Meg has been creating DIY videos since the very first DIY network, Threadbanger, aired on the internet in 2006. Since then, she has been a DIY home and lifestyle blogger, and has created videos for Etsy, Curbly, MAKE, The Knot, Martha Stewart, and she now proudly makes weekly videos for HGTV’s YouTube channel, HGTV Handmade.

Meg’s theatre and film background makes her a natural on camera, and her genuine love of all people (and animals) creates an infectious passion that carries through in her on-camera presence. Meg has her finger on the pulse of design and fashion trends, and always knows how to put her own individual spin on them. Meg has years of experience being a professional spokesperson and has done many live demonstrations of crafts and DIYs, at events like Maker Faire and Project Runway Duck Tape fashion show.

From fox-face ear muffs to a reclaimed wood wall, no job is too small or too big for Meg. Bring it on, because Goonies Never Say Die.
