One of Frank Lloyd wright’s masterpieces is Fallingwater in Pennsylvania. It is preserved and open to visitors, and it is on my to do list for 2010. It is about 90 minutes outside of Pittsuburg and would make such an interesting and gorgeous day trip from my parent’s home in State College, PA. Until then I will eat up these images of the stunning exterior.

As we enter the interior, look at the rich, luxurious color palette of in the cozy seating.

Here is a photograph of the interior in the 1970’s.

In my research I also found the first floor floor plan. What a treat!

When I go, I will certainly share my photographs with you.
